            Few people involved in agriculture don’t recognize the Cavender name.  Cavender’s Boot City western stores are only a portion of Joe Cavender’s agriculture oriented business.  Cavender Ranches and his Neches River Ranch primarily run a cow-calf operation consisting of over 300 head of registered Brangus cows and 1000 head of commercial Brangus cows.  For the past four years Cavender has hosted a yearly bull and commercial female sale, marketing over 120 bulls on an annual basis.

            Cavender Ranches is the home of Suhn's Affirmed 416N4, LTD of Brinks and Patton of Brinks. Cavender has continued to add top females to their program through the purchase of top lots at Chimney Rock and Camp Cooley. Through extensive AI and these recent purchases Cavender Ranches has built a group of over 20 donor cows that they are presently flushing to produce breed leading genetics.
